Cellfig is an AI tool that turns a description of a biological pathway, mechanism or experiment into a scientific figure. You can edit the result on a canvas and export it. Results are generated by AI, so they can contain errors. Check every figure against your own data and the literature before you publish or present it.
You sign in with your email address. Each figure costs 10 credits, and the cost is shown before you generate. New accounts receive a one-time free credit grant. Paid options are Pro and Lab subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly, and one-time credit packs. Current prices and credit amounts are on the pricing page.
Credits included with a subscription are granted each month and do not roll over to the next month. Credits from a credit pack do not expire. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. See the refund policy for what is and is not refundable.
You keep the rights to the text and files you provide. You give us a limited license to process them so we can generate and store your figures and provide the service. You are responsible for what you upload and for having the right to use it.
Figures you generate are yours to use, including in papers, theses, posters, slides and commercial work, subject to these terms. We do not guarantee that a figure is unique, and similar prompts may produce similar figures. If a journal requires disclosure of AI-generated material, following that rule is your responsibility.
Do not use Cellfig to break the law, to infringe the rights of others, to fabricate or falsify research results, to generate harmful or abusive content, to attack or overload the service, or to resell access to it. We may limit or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Cellfig is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted service or a particular result. To the extent the law allows, Zane is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: [email protected].
